ÖBS becomes authorized dealer for Wirthwein cable ducts in Germany.
With immediate effect, ÖBS GmbH will take over the distribution of the new generation of plastic cable ducts with the product name "Cable Duct" in Germany as an authorized dealer. "I am very pleased that we have been able to win ÖBS, a long-standing partner, as an authorized dealer. I am convinced that ÖBS, with its network and expertise, will greatly contribute to the further sales success of our cable duct portfolio," says Thomas Kraus, Chief Sales Officer of Wirthwein SE.

The continuous further development of the product, the approval of DB Netz AG for fixed installation and the consistently high quality of the Wirthwein cable duct have convinced us. Wirthwein has been producing plastic cable ducts since the early 1990s. Many years of expertise and the high quantities installed at Deutsche Bahn AG and many other operators worldwide have made Wirthwein the market leader for this product. In the new generation, which is distributed under the product name "Cable Duct", the plug-in connection has been integrated into the trough to simplify installation on the construction site for customers, the new cover design increases the load-bearing capacity and a special locking system enhances safety. The plug-in system continues to ensure a stable, positive and non-positive connection - it also compensates for expansion and shrinkage forces. In addition, the Wirthwein plastic cable duct saves 50 percent CO2 compared to concrete solutions.
