The international management meeting in Creglingen at the beginning of June 2024 focused on current challenges in our target industries and countries. The meeting also provided the perfect platform for the Wirthwein Awards, which were presented for the first time. The aim of these awards is to honor teams that have earned special recognition for their excellent performance. This year, the awards were presented in the two categories "Operational Excellence Champion" and "Production Champion".
The prize in the "Production Champion" category was awarded to the team from the Turkish site "Farel Plastik A.Ş." in Çerkezköy, from left: Chief Sales Officer Thomas Kraus, Spokesman of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer Dr. Ralf Zander, shareholder of Farel Plastik Ömer Burhanoğlu, Plant Manager Farel Plastik Murat Peker, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Marcus Wirthwein and Chief Technology Officer Holm Riepenhausen.
In the "Operational Excellence Champion" category, the prize was awarded to a working group consisting of the sales team from the Mobility business unit, the responsible employees at the Nauen site and the colleagues responsible for materials purchasing.
